While the official owner of record is the owner recorded in the registry’s registrar’s local database, with the online database updated as near to real-time as possible, we do offer printed certificates of registration, printed on quality stock with our official embossed stamp.
The online transfer form continues to be the official means of communication for registration and transfer and the certificate of registration is not mailed in, but is designed to go with the pig, and remain with the pig throughout it’s life. This provides as complete a history as possible of the pigs life and travels, with room to record breeding history as well.
A printed certificate of registration is not required as the RWPP database maintains the official owner of record, but is being made available to add integrity to the documentation of our stock and provide confidence to buyers.
Each certificate will show the pig’s name, registration number and class, identification, breeder and owner, and other information. The printed pedigree will show registration numbers and breeders of the ancestors so the history of the animal is as complete as possible. The back of the certificate has room to record transfers of ownership and a breeding history.

- For breeders, we offer a litter special of $19.50 total for all the registrable piglets in a litter, and will strive to have those to you in a timely manner so the certificate can be handed to the buyer when they pick up the piglet.
